One method for sales models to temporarily plant medium and large trees on hillside slopes, sideyards, and planter areas…is to leave the trees in their boxes…as shown in the illustration below…to provide the appearance of permanent finished landscaping…while preserving the flexibility to safely move these trees later.

For example, trees can be planted in their 24-inch or 36-inch boxes and maintained for a period of time until the completed construction allows them to be permanently planted at their final designed location…after sales are over and the sales office and models complex is converted for occupancy.

The trees are saved from the stress of being initially planted, dug up, and replanted again…and the builder can provide the look of completed landscaping in the optimum manner for the sales office and models complex…temporarily while the adjacent new construction is in progress.
