One thing the customer service repair people should have in their possession are “Wet Paint” signs…which should be taped up around doors and jambs that have been painted with typically slow-drying enamel paint.

Sometimes the customer service repair person or crew makes repairs while the homebuyer is not at home.

In one particular case, a businessman came home from work and leaned up against a freshly garage fire-door (the door between the garage and the house interior) while holding bags of groceries…only to discover that his expensive dark business suit now hard white enamel paint all over one arm and shoulder.

When the customer service crew paints…they should take the same precautions as professional painters…which includes putting up “Wet Paint” warning signs.
